What kind of books do you write?
I write clean and wholesome romantic suspense stories under two different pen names, Jo Grafford and Jovie Grace. No explicit content and no foul language. Mostly about cowboys. Mostly set in Texas. The romance in my books involves kisses, hugs, and hand holding—nothing that’ll make your grandmother blush. The suspense is cozy. Absolutely no gore. It focuses on the “whodunit” details, with LOTS of witty banter between the hero and heroine. You’re welcome!
Why do you write under two pen names?
It’s because I write in two distinctly different genres. I write heartwarming cowboy romantic suspense (contemporary titles) as Jo Grafford, and I write sweet western romance and cozy mysteries (historical titles) as Jovie Grace. All of my books are squeaky clean and written from a Christian worldview.
When did you start writing?
I’ve been spinning stories since I could hold my first crayon and signed my first book contract in 2013.
